Our Story
When researching breeds for the Kennel, we wanted an all around exceptional breed that would make good and faithful companions. We were drawn to the Aussie because of their beauty, popularity, and intellegence. As we have been around them for the last couple of years, their loyality, love, and energy does not cease to amaze us. They have proved to be exceptional in so many ways. We invite you to consider how they may be a good fit for you.
Our Breed
is one of those ‘only in America’ stories: a European breed perfected in California by way of Australia. Fixtures on circuit and on the open range, they are closely associated with the cowboy life. Aussies love activity and sports and are avid herders. They are loveable companions, fiercely loyal to masters and playfully active at home and at work. They are very athletic, graceful and make great hiking companions. Aussie coats offer different looks, including merle (a mottled pattern with contrasting shades of blue or red). They are remarkably intelligent, a brainy, tireless, and trainable partner for work or sport. Above all, they’re loyal and loving, a great friend to those who are willing to invest time in them. Australian Shepherd
Our Dogs.
Shelby is our Tri-Color Female Australian Shepherd with beautiful markings. A very athletic Aussie whose ancestors were successful show competitors, it’s a joy to watch her long and graceful figure running around the yard chasing birds, squirrels or balls. She’s a smiling, active, hip wagging Aussie but sweet and quick to shower us with wet kisses and love. An avid hiker and a great companion, she loves to be out in nature. She’s great around kids, super intelligent, and an excellent mother!
Sterling is our Blue Merle Male Australian Shepherd. His two white socks, freckle face, piercing blue eyes and beautiful merle markings make him a eye catcher when we take walks around town. Sterling is gentle, quick to role over for a belly rub or lay his head on our knee. He’s also on the ornery stubborn side when he doesn’t get his way! He’s fun to take on strolls and responds well to kids petting him. He’s been a great addition to our family and a good male for our breeding program.
